An all-round perfect 360 degree View
Welcome to a height of 150 metres - here, on the viewing platform of the Danube Tower, you can experience Vienna from a completely new perspective. Far above the rooftops of the city, you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, relax and enjoy the unique 360-degree panorama.
On clear days, the view stretches up to 80 kilometres - from the Alps with Schneeberg and Rax to Bratislava. A perfect place to discover Vienna from above, get your bearings and see the city in all its beauty.
For safety, the terrace is secured with a 1.30 metre high, inward-sloping concrete parapet. Originally, a high, open safety railing with inwardly curved tips was installed on top, which was later replaced by a closed mesh cage. This extends to the so-called ‘inner terrace’ to give all guests an unobstructed view.
Whether sunrise, a sea of lights at night or spectacular weather conditions - the viewing terrace of the Danube Tower is an unforgettable experience for all visitors!

Vienna through the seasons
Spring - Vienna awakes
When the city awakens from its winter slumber, parks and gardens turn a delicate green colour. From above, you can see the trees in the Prater in bloom and the Danube glistening - a perfect start to the warm season.
Summer - Brilliant water worlds
The Danube shimmers in the sun, while the Danube Island and the Old Danube are full of life - boats glide across the water, people enjoy the beaches. The city shines in the distance, while the warm summer evenings create a magical atmosphere.
Autumn - golden expanses from above
From a bird's eye view, Vienna is bathed in a sea of gold and red. The Vienna Woods and the vineyards on the Kahlenberg glow in warm colours, while the low sun bathes the roofs of the city in golden light - an unforgettable sight.
Winter - Vienna in the magic of lights
When snow covers the city, the Danube Tower offers a fairytale view. The roofs glisten frostily, the Danube reflects the winter sun and the illuminated Ferris wheel in the Prater adds an atmospheric accent to the wintry backdrop.
